    Product Description

    The Optitap drop cable assembly from AngNet features factory-terminated, environmentally sealed, and ruggedized connectors, reducing the cost and time of drop cable deployment in optical access networks.  It provides a robust and sealed connection solution for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) connections.  Inside the Optitap termination, a pre-polished SC/APC connector is used, which is protected by the ruggedized housing of the OptiTap.  This connector is resistant to high and low temperatures, weatherproof, UV-resistant, and waterproof, making it suitable for various application harsh environments.  The connector is compatible with Optitap adapters and offers extremely low optical insertion loss.  OptiTap connector can be used with SST or ROC Flat cables or traditional round OSP cables, providing an ideal solution for direct burial, conduit, or aerial installations.
